Tomorrow is Miss T's 11 months birthday. In the last two months she grew to be bigger, though not yet heavier than her Dam. Yesterday we took a family excursion to the river and Miss T discovered she could let go of her secure footing on the bottom to reach out for a stick she really really wanted. This is her first attempts at swimming. A couple of paddles here and a couple of paddles there. Until now she would freak out if the water got too deep, leap in the air, run for shore, and do crazy Ivan's all around the shoreline.

WOW!!! I wish MacGyver (my Golden Retriever) and I could be there in a month to help celebrate the big ONE YEAR birthday!!!
