Pepper was a service dog, a calm and temperate companion. For years she gave of herself with little complaint. She helped me get back to my feet. Last year when she could not longer climb stairs, a dear friend gave her a home for her last days. Today Pepper died. She is and will be sorely missed.

Chris emailed me today. Pepper was a very special girl. There will never be another Pepper for sure! She will have a special place on the Rainbow Bridge...Tori will be heartbroken. God bless Pepper and those of us that knew and loved her! Connie
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear of the loss of someone who was an aide to your recovery. We are very much "dog people" although we are not home enough to have our own. Saw a VERY cute puppy at an outdoor concert this evening.

Thank you for sending me this note. I think of Pepper often, and always will. She was so very special and loving.
ReplyDeletePerhaps they are not Stars in the sky
but rather Openings where
our Loved ones shine down
to let us know they are Happy.
Pepper will be a very bright star, in the sky, and in our hearts, forever. Sandy
My heart goes out to you My Friend in this sad time. Pepper was more than a guide dog...she had a place in your heart that will ache for a while. Her earthly aches and pains are gone... rejoice in the hope of a future reunion with a companion that will be whole again.
