Due Diligence Didn't

Ok... I did my due diligence, but for naught. Two of the California rest areas I planned to use were closed for construction. But are they listed as closed on line? NOOOOOO! So for my final stop today I had to go past the one going the opposite direction and come back to it for a place to park or get caught up in rush hour traffic and arriving too soon to tomorrow's destination. This requires going east again before I can go west. Oh well. Must be some reason for it, right?
