Hurry Up and Wait

Waiting patiently is not one of my long suits. Friday, Blue Beacon truck wash broke an important mirror on my rig. No way to drive in heavy traffic w/o it. Fortunately I had a planned stop in the outskirts of Phoenix. We had a good time boxing, eating, working on "stuff", reading and generally hanging out. But now it's time to move on and I want to do it NOW. Beaudry, Chandler ordered what they THINK is the right part. Four pm yesterday the call came that it had arrived and it LOOKS LIKE it might be the right part. So to miss the worst of rush hour, goodbyes were said last night and we hitched up and headed down early this am. Service Dept. doesn't open 'till 8 so time to catch up on email and a second cup of coffee. Miss T would probably like a walk during this time as well.

Speaking of Miss T. This is her first trip in the rig. She has done surprisingly well. This weekend, however, she spent quite a bit of time alone and in the rig which could not be fully changed from its bus form to home form due to space restrictions. Even so, it is apparent that she has done well with her housebreaking. She didn't chew on anything she shouldn't. Those are notable behaviors.

It is too hot, too hot, too hot. Hoping to move out of the Phoenix today.

Until next time...
Baqash, seeking relief from heat and waiting.

  2. I looked up how hot your hot was and yes, it is hot!!! One of the things I will not miss this summer is the Arizona heat.....a mild mid 60's under blue skies here.....Of course come July I might be singing a different song when the dreaded humidity makes itself known....lol...we shall see how well a couple of desert rats transplant in the heartland.
Hope Phoenix is in your rear view mirror and you put some distance between you and her.
    Travel safe my friend
