One of the blessings I've had this year is to be able to take mini retreats. Here is the view out of my window while dry camping at the church campus. Very large grass area surrounded by newly growing corn. Off to the left, out of your field of vision, is a row of trees. Awesome off leash time for Miss T. Incredible early mornings and evenings for sitting out and thinking; and sometimes just sitting. What you can't really see is that it had been raining that sweet smelling summer rain and everything was sparkly. It is tempting to want to just stay in this cocoon of peace. But alas.... it is called dry camping for a reason.
